Specifically designed to provide maximum cold-air airflow using the original throttle body. The stock OEM air box on the MK8 ST is known to sap power due to its restrictive plastic build. During their development for this induction kit, ITG performed back-to-back testing on an independent dynamometer to see how it affects the performance. They tested it on a stock car and recorded an average increase of 8.6bhp and 3lbs/ft of torque using the pleated cotton filter.
In addition to this, this kit comes equipped with the Zirotec coated heat shield which protects the Fiesta ST MK8 air filter from becoming heat soaked, ensuring the cold air feed. This results in the turbo performing more efficiently as well as an increase in throttle response. To top it all off not only does this kit amplify the performance, but it also increases the induction noise.
